HSC – Best investment bank in Vietnam – Honored by FinanceAsia magazine

HSC FINANCE AWARD 2021 EMAIL VN

Ho Chi Minh City, 03 June 2021, Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC, HOSE: HCM) named as "Best Investment Banking in Vietnam 2021", voted by Finance Asia magazine.

Finance Asia Awards is one of the most prestigious awards in the financial market. The award is evaluated based on survey results with customers and data collected by FinanceAsia for major financial institutions in Southeast Asia.
This year, HSC surpassed other securities companies in Vietnam to win "Best Investment Bank 2021", once again affirming HSC's name and reputation in the financial advisory services. 

HSC’s Financial advisory services include: M&A advisory (M&A), Debt Capital Market (bond issuance), Equity Capital Markets (listing, IPO). This is also a key business of HSC's strategy in the future. Based on available strengths such as distribution and analysis services, market making capability. In 2020, The business delivered VND34.9 billion of revenue. HSC continued to illustrate its deal execution capabilities with the completion of a landmark deal with Aozora, a leading Japanese bank, to become strategic investor in Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank, a fast-growing bank in Vietnam. Besides, HSC has built a strong pipeline which promises to translate into considerable growth in the future.

According to 2021 plan, the business’s revenue in 2021 is expected to come from M&A advisory service, capital issuance advisory service and listing advisory service, both in the equity and debt markets. The targeted revenue in 2021 is VND80 billion, which is more than double revenue in the year before. The revenue guidance is built upon transactions that are expected to be concluded in 2021.

These trends will create tremendous growth opportunities for local companies as well as FDI company doing business in Vietnam, and subsequently strong demand for corporate finance services such as capital mobilization, investment opportunities, M&A…. HSC has prepared to invest in technology, human resources capital to deliver strong performance in financial advisory services: consulting services, raising capital through all forms IPO, Private placement, M&A.”
